Several high ranking OSU officials from the police, traffic and parking, event management and athletic ticket departments met with the media earlier this week to outline changes to football game day policies and procedures. Click here for an explanation of some notable changes as well as the school's full release on game day procedures.

Regarding the camera requirements. Is it ok to bring a camera that zooms. The lense cannot be changed/switched. I have a Sony DSC-H7.
I can't wait to see the new introduction!
Your camera is ok.
Where is the best plact to park?
Why no cameras with interchangeable lens??
I understand that it might be a state or local law (open container) but doesn't it seem silly to open your can of beer and then have to pour it into a red plastic cup?! It's not like the law enforcement agencies don't know what is in the red plastic cup and...well, is it still not an open container?
Jones said counterfeit OSU football tickets should be easy to spot. “Our tickets are unique,” he said. “They have foil on them. They have security features on them that help prevent the unauthorized sale of counterfeit tickets.” -Umm, Mr. Jones, could you be any less specific to help out people buying tickets over Ebay/from scalpers? So I guess if one of the dudes "Need Tickets/Has Tickets" puts some Reynolds Wrap on a piece of cardboard, that is a distinguishing security feature?!? Maybe they should try a watermark of Neutron Man which is visible at a 45 degree angle or that fibers of the original Brutus costume are woven into the ticket.
The open container enforcement is retarded. I feel like an underage kid trying to sneak around or something. They had an article in the Cols Dispatch a while ago that showed no other Big Ten school enforces this like OSU. LAME!
Regarding the question about parking, I've always had pretty good success at the $10 day-of-game lots they mentioned. In particular, the ones on Olentangy River Rd. (near the Fawcett Center and Woody Hayes Athletic Center) are pretty easy to get in and out of....just make sure to give yourself plenty of time before the game eo ensure you get a spot.
What really sucks is that my babysitting wife cannot bring our 8 month old granddaughter, who's mother is a proud Buckeye Alumn, to the game (even though she would be held the entire game for she couldn't sit if she wanted to) because it's mandated she needs her own ticket. I still can't make any sense out of that. Please, however, be advised that we still love our Mighty Buckeyes.
